Internal Assesment

 

 
 

 
Internal assessment of each student has been made compulsory and integral part of the university examination system.These examinations are held in the month of december.The relevent rules governing to the Internal Assessment system (vide resolution of the Executive Council no. 5 dated 1 st May 2003. are reported below.
 
 
A minimum  25% of the total marks in each course will be awarded based on Internal Assessment on a continous basis. Internal Assessment marks will be shown separately in the marks sheet issued by the University.  These marks will be added to the annual/semester examination marks, for determing division of the student.  
 
Criteria for awarding Internal Assessment Marks:-
 
A)  10% weightage will be out of House Examination to be conducted by the college preferably at the end of II term.
 
B)  10% weightage will be for written assignments and project reports/terms paper/saminars.
 
C)  5% weightage will be given for regularity in attending lecturers and tutorials. The credit for regularity in each paper, based on attendance, will be as follows:-
 
1.   More than 67 % but less than 70%     1 Mark
2.   70% or more but less than 75%         2 Marks
3.   75% or more but less than 80%         3 Marks
4.   80% or more but less than 85%         4 Marks
5.   85% and above                               5 Marks
