LIBRARY
 
The college library has an excellent collection of nearly 45,000 books and subscribes to 26 magnes & journals covering almost all the subjects relating to Arts, Commerce, Computers, Humanities & Generalia. If regularly subscribes to periodicals and Newspapers in Hindi and English. The Library has an open shelf system for the students of Honours Courses. Library is computerized and air-conditioned. 4 cards for students in Honours Courses and 3 cards for students of B.Com. and B.A. Programme courses are issued.
 
BANK
 
The College has an extension counter of the Central Bank of India in its premises which caters to all banking requirements of the staff and the students. All students are advised to open an account with the bank by depositing a minimum amount.
 
CANTEEN
 
The College has a spacious canteen providing quality refreshments and eatables at reasonable rates.
 
GENDER SENSITIZATION COMMITTEE
 
As per Ordinance XV (D): The Gender Sensitization Committee for “Prohibition of and Punishment for Sexual Harassment” is to look after the complaints of sexual harassment in the College. For the names of the members of the present committee see the list of Committees on page No. 19-20.
 
ACADEMIC SOCIETIES
 
All the departments have their Academic Societies. All students of a particular subject are members of that academic society ipso facto.
 
SPORTS AND GAMES
 
The College offers immense opportunities for students inclined towards sports, both indoors and outdoors. In addition to expert guidance, facilities include a cemented pitch for cricket, specially-made courts for volleyball, badminton and handball, football and hockey grounds, tennis table(s) as well as facilities for athletics and judo. The students of the college are actively encouraged to participate in these activities.
 
N.C.C. (NATIONAL CADET CORPS)
 
There is a provision for N.C.C. training in the College. The N.C.C. organizes its Annual Function, Aarohi, once a year. There are different wings of boys’ & girls’ cadets in the college such as Air, Navy & Army. Those who wish to join the N.C.C. should apply to the N.C.C. Officer.
 
N.S.S. (NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME)
 
N.S.S. was introduced in the College in July 1970. Those who wish to join the N.S.S. should apply on the prescribed form available with the College Office in the month of August.   The N.S.S. wing of the college carries out various activities like Yoga, Poster making, Traffic Control Camps etc.
 
GANDHI STUDY CIRCLE
 
College has a Gandhi Study Circle affiliated to Gandhi Bhawan, Delhi University. Its aim is to popularize Gandhi’s thought and philosophy among the young students. Those who wish to join Gandhi Study Circle may contact the incharge, Gandhi Study Circle.
 
COLLEGE MAGAZINE
 
The College publishes a magazine titled “STAVAK” which unfolds the life of the college and reveals engrossing articles contributed by the students and the staff of the College.
 
IDENTITY CARD
 
Entry of the students in the college will be strictly by showing Identity Cards only.   The Identity Cards supplied to students must be surrendered at the time of withdrawal of his/her name, failing which a penalty of Rs. 50/- will be charged. Duplicate Identity card will be issued on payment of Rs. 50/- after the student has lodged an FIR for the lost Identity Card with the Police.
 
COLLEGE SCHEDULE
 
The College remains open six days a week. The classes commence from 2:45 p.m. and each period is of 55 minutes duration.
